Lofsdalen attracts skiers from all over Europe, with its 122 km of well-maintained cross-country tracks and 150 km of marked trails. The well-kept snow-sure ski tracks are suitable for both elite and leisure skiers as well as for those who just want to get out in the fresh mountain air, and soak up impressions from the crisp white expanses. Do you want to experience nature but also have some fun thrilling excitement? Then you should rent a snowmobile and embark on an unforgettable tour beyond civilization.
At Lofsdalen alpine facility there are both child-friendly and easily negotiated ski slopes, as well as very steep ones for the more experienced skier. Lofsdalen is definitely a ski resort you can count on with 25 slopes, wonderful opportunities for off-piste skiing and Sweden’s second steepest groomed slope, Rännan (42 degrees inclination). Even better: very rarely do people have to wait for the lifts.
In summer, this pristine mountain landscape offers exciting activities in front of a backdrop of beauty. Hike high above the tree line, along excellent hiking trails of various grades of difficulty. Sit down for a moment in this magical John Bauer environment and listen to the silence. Fish for trout in lake Lofssjön or go cloudberry picking in the wetlands. Bike the 40 km loop around the lake or go for a relaxing jog through the woods on perfect surface.
